Keyodhoo MP Moosa Nizar said not a single aspect of humanity can be seen from the current government.
Moosa Nizar said this while speaking at the opposition alliance’s meeting in M. Dhiggaru.
He said the current government has been oppressing the people and violating their rights and has slowly lost all aspects of humanity. Each and every person should ponder the condition of the country when facing an election, and all those that do will be reduced to tears, he said.
While justice should be the foundation of governance in an Islamic country, what can be seen in this country are oppression and the loss of uprightness, he said.
Moosa Nizar said people living in a place without justice would never be given their rights and that morality or humanity cannot be seen in such a place. Such a place cannot be developed, it will only breed hatred, envy and revenge, he said.
He said the only way to change the situation of the country is to change the current government. The opposition alliance’s presidential candidate and his running mate will take the country to safer shores and bring about the justice and reform the country thirsts for, he said.
