Vice President Faisal Naseem, on Monday, visited persons with disabilities in capital Male’ City and Hulhumale’.
The VP visited the houses of persons with disabilities during the events carried out by Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services to celebrate the “International Day of Persons with Disabilities” (IDPD), celebrated on December 3 each year.
Vice President Faisal Naseem was accompanied by the Minister of Gender, Family and Social Services Shidhatha Shareef.
The VP also visited both Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) and Hulhumale’ Hospital, where he visited persons with disabilities admitted at the hospitals.
The VP has been known for his relentless work for the rights of persons with disabilities even before he took oath.
