Minister of Youth, Sports & Community Empowerment Ahmed Mahloof has established a policy that allows youth ministry staff to take their children to office during working hours.
Minister Mahloof said this via a tweet on Thursday. He said children can visit their parents and spend time with them during office hours at youth ministry, under a specific guideline.
However, he did not disclose the details of the guideline or the amount of time the children will be allowed to visit with their parents at the ministry.
The tweet announcing the decision was met with huge support from the public. Many said this decision will facilitate employees to spend more time at the office and work in contentment.
Minister Mahloof was appointed to the position on the night of the same day President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih took oath.
Upon his appointment, minister Mahloof met with all the staff of the ministry, listened to their complaints and began work to solve the issues they were facing.
