Aasandha office has, on Saturday, informed their service was disrupted due to technical issue.
Aasandha service was momentarily disrupted from 5:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, but has since been solved.
When the service was initiated in 2012, each Maldivian citizen received medical assistance up to MVR 100,000. However since 2014, the service had been upgraded to provide all locals with unlimited medical assistance through Aasandha. The company had also made the decision to provide their service for expired National Identity cards since November 25, 2018.
The Unlimited Aasandha Scheme guidelines are running in accordance with Article 40 of the National System for Social and Health Insurance Act.
Many Maldivians have been using Aasandha service to receive medical treatment at local clinics, hospitals and from abroad at hospitals which cover Aasandha.
