Villa International High School (VIHS) has begun accepting applications for the upcoming intake.
Students who wish to pursue their higher secondary education at VIHS may submit their applications between January 13 to 28. Classes are scheduled to begin on February 3, after orientation meetings.
While speaking to the press, VIHS principal Saeed Ahmed said that VIHS does not follow a system of discrimination among students based on their grades and that no student will be neglected from completing a higher secondary education, irrespective of their results.
He added that students who have 5 passes in their O'levels (including Islamic Studies and Dhivehi Language) will be eligible for the government sponsorship to study at VIHS. Students who do not possess the said results, will be required to pay a reasonable fee to commence their studies at VIHS.
Principal Saeed delightfully informed that scholarships will be available for students who excelled in their O'levels, finding themselves among the top 1,2 and 3rd ranks in the country, and students who have demonstrated excellent sportsmanship in extra co-curricular activities at a national level.
While VIHS offers the popular streams science and business, other specific subjects will also be available. VIHS will be conducting an Open Day on January 18, from 4 p.m. till 10 p.m. for prospective students and their parents, to provide them with more information on their subjects and activities.
