Ismail Yasir, who was appointed to the board of STO a mere two weeks ago, has resigned from the position.
Yasir stated that he was taken off the board at his request, since he had other priorities that needed his immediate attention and was time constraining to perform his duties as a member of the board.
He added that he was taken off the privatization board also upon his request.
He was appointed to the board on the February 7, as a replacement to the seat of deputy leader of MDA Aishath Rafiyya.
The now existing members of the STO board are Managing Director Hussain Amur, renowned businessman Amir Mansoor, Mohamed Mihad, Aishath Fazeena and Mariyam Zahir.
