New Radiant Sports Club has added Brazilian forward Betim Marti (Rafinha) into their team, in efforts to fortify the club in preparation for the football season in 2015.
This makes the 3rd foreign player to be included into the club, as it preps up for the year 2015.
Before Rafinha, New Radiant has included goalkeeper Pedro Marenko - who was in the Philippines League Champions team as well as in Spain’s 3rd Division. The other addition was Brazilian Midfielder Everton Santos Souza - who played for AYL at the last stretch of the football season in 2012.
According to the club, the 27-year old Rafinha had also played in several clubs of various Brazil divisions, as well as in leagues in Portugal and Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, the club had also introduced some local additions as well - which include Maaziyaa midfielder Ashad Ali (Adubarey), Maaziyaa defender Rilwan Waheed (Riley) and AYL goalkeeper Mohamed Yamaan.
The club had also announced that training sessions will commence on the 10th of January.
Additionally, the clubs’ chairman Ali Waheed (Balak) stated that Mika Lonnstrom - who was the team’s coach last season - will remain in the same post during the next season as well.
