Heads of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) have decided to participate in the long-run organized by Total Fitness Group (TFG), this year.
MTCC’s Human Resource and Administrative Department’s Executive, Abdullah Faaid attributes the main objective of the decision on being good role models for their employees, to encourage them to actively take part in such events, to promote healthy working environments and to increase productivity.
MTCC employees had previously participated in the long-run event held by TFG in 2016. The long-run initiated by TFG in 2012, is carried out in four main categories: full marathon, half marathon, 10 km and 5 km.
TFG’s CEO, Hussain Zinan said he is delighted to have all the heads of MTCC join them in the event. He further said that they will provide all necessary trainings for MTCC staff to prepare for the event.
MTCC said they recently signed an agreement with TFG, to carryout fitness programs for their staff. Under the agreement, the best participant in the Fitness Challenge Program would receive a free membership at TFG.
MTCC is the first private company established in the Maldives. MTCC is Maldives’ agent for Yamma engine, Suzuki outboard engine, Costrel diesel oil and Sigma antifouling system. MTCC’s services include, ferry services, lagoon and reclamation, beach protection and housing projects in Maldives.
